In Lakewood Ranch, Florida is looking for an energetic, professional individual who is a team player ready to help people become the healthiest versions of themselves in a group and one-on-one environment.

Position:                              Activities Instructor

Primary Responsibilities:

The Activities Instructor serves as the leader, organizer and executor of members/resident programs to include fitness programs, recreational, social, cultural, travel, and entertainment designed to enrich the quality of life and the vibrancy of the members/residents.  The Activities Instructor ensures that all programs and services are conducted and fulfilled in a manner consistent with the goals and objectives of The Club.

Principle Duties:

  • Plans, coordinates and implements members/residents programs, classes and special events.
  • Conducts group fitness classes, events and lessons with an energetic attitude.
  • Assist members/residents in the scheduling of activities, to include classes, events and tennis courts usage.
  • Work closely with Membership Sales Person in planning and implementing New Member/Resident Orientation.
  • Coordinates and work closely with the General Manager, Food & Beverage Manager, Chef, Golf Professionals and Membership Sale Person in creating an exciting and current calendar of events designed to inspire and grow participation.
  • Perform any and all other duties as assigned.


Physical Requirements:

  • Capable of working extended hours, to include weekends and holidays as necessary.
  • Position involves sitting, standing, and/or movement throughout the day. 
  • This position will alternate between working indoors in a controlled climate, to an outdoors setting with variable climate.  Must be able to interact with all types of individuals, detail oriented, and with good reasoning skills.


This is a full time/year-round position $13 - $15 per hour plus lessons and/or class fees.
