Join a dynamic hospitality management team that oversees one of Sarasota's most beautiful condominium communities. We are looking for a Janitorial/Maintenance person to be a part of our team!  The entry level position is a full-time (approx. 32-40 hours per week) that will assist the Community Manager. Overseeing general janitorial needs and upkeep of the amenities of an upscale residential Condominium community in Sarasota, FL. This position interacts regularly with all management, vendors and residents.


  • Walk through the amenities consisting of several buildings, fitness center, pool, on a daily basis to review and assess the condition.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance such as pressure washing, cleaning, changing light bulbs, picking up trash etc.
  • Cleaning restroom facilities and stocking supplies.
  • Interact in a friendly and cordial manner with residents.
  • Work with vendors and contractors on other maintenance and repair needs as needed.
  • Stock restrooms and fitness center with paper products and other supplies.
  • Communicate regularly with Community Manager on any issues including repairs needed, maintenance needs and resident issues
  • Follow all community operating procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all residents, whether facility and maintenance-related or otherwise.
  • Being personable and helping residents and their guests with questions and concerns is essential.
  • Be responsive when emergencies arise and flexible when the need to perform different tasks arises.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Strong work ethic, team player, personable, organized, enthusiastic.
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks at once and to quickly switch tasks throughout the day.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time 32-40 hours per week

Starting Pay:  $14.00 per hour
