We are seeking a dynamic leader to be the General Manager of this magnificent property. This individual needs to have significant experience in the day-to-day operations of a hotel/resort, as well as have a proven record of overall fiscal responsibility. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, vibrant General Manager with success in leading a team to stellar results. Proven success in position of GM or Senior Leadership in hotel/resort environment
Extensive Rooms Division background to include Yield Management, Market Segmentation, Front Office, Reservations, Maintenance, and Housekeeping
Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations
Working knowledge of Sales and Marketing
Effective ability to supervise, train, motivate and mentor team members to maintain optimal department operation and staff development
Analytical approach to problem solving
Ability to work, communicate and maintain positive owner relations
Computer, spreadsheet and budgeting skills
Multi-tasking, attention to detail and follow through
Commitment and delivery of the highest standards
The successful candidate will be a strong, self-motivated team leader with in-depth knowledge of the hotel/resort industry
2+ years as General Manager
5+ years hotel experience with focus on Rooms and working knowledge of Food and Beverage and Sales & Marketing
Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office including, but not limited to, Outlook, Excel and Word
Effective written and verbal communication skills exercising patience, tact and diplomacy
Annual Salary $60,000-$75,000 (commensurate upon experience)
