We are currently seeking an experienced Corporate Operations Manager based in or near Atlanta Georgia.

The Corporate Operations Manager’s primary responsibility will be the oversight of Food and Beverage operations at assigned properties.  The successful candidate will ensure we deliver excellent guest service and experiences while training staff and working within budgeted guidelines.  Additional responsibilities will include assisting the Vice President of Operations in other operational areas and tasks as assigned.

Measures of Performance:

Driving Sales

  • Provides guidance and direction to property-based Food and Beverage staff to maximize hotel F&B revenues (Outlets, Banquet, Catering, Other)
  • Assist with creation and management of annual Food and Beverage strategic plan
  • Set targets, objectives, budgets, and policies/procedures for F&B Outlets
  • Ensure F&B sales goals and budgets are met or exceeded by each hotel
  • Develop and implement targeted F&B initiatives designed to achieve property goal
  • Develop with property team, menu concept and pricing for various food outlets
  • Assist in creation of tactical, creative and cooperative targeted marketing initiatives to drive overall F&B revenues
  • Adherence to and knowledge of corporate and client programs and initiatives

Operations

  • Conduct annual appraisals of F&B Managers
  • Develop, implement and monitor cleanliness and service standards
  • Develop and monitor programs to ensure acceptable COGS, labor measures and expense control
  • Trains, coaches, counsels, and confers with food preparation and other personnel to implement programs, menus, recipes and other activities related to food operations
  • Trains, coaches and inspects food, food preparation and equipment to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations
  • Ensures all locations are maintained in compliance with Corporate and Government standards and guidelines
  • Visits all properties within the region at least once per month
  • Provides Visitation Reports to GM, F&B Leader, and Coral Executive Team
  • Conducts quarterly Food-service/Beverage compliance checklist with General Manager
  • Monitors and helps reduce any food quality and customer service comments/concerns/complaints
  • Develops training procedures and updates manuals as needed
  • Provides merchandising support
  • Develops and aids in implementation of grassroots advertising tactics
  • Provides recommendations to GM, F&B Leadership, and Coral Executive Team based on financial and industry data
  • Assist in the screening and interviewing process for new F&B Leaders and ensure succession planning is in place at all sites
  • Ensures all Health Department issues are addressed by following up with other departments within the company
  • Conduct on-property visits of hotels to assess strength of F&B, strategic culture and adherence to Coral Hospitality’s F&B Standards
  • Identify opportunities to reward performance and “celebrate success”

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from a college or combination of education, training or experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform Corporate Operations Manager job duties.

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as Restaurant General Manager or Food & Beverage Manager is helpful
  • Track record of leading and inspiring teams to meet or exceed goals
  • Extensive travel required to properties

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Must be computer literate; have strong skills using Microsoft Office suite of products, especially Word and Excel, ability to operate Food and Beverage POS systems
  • Ability to be assertive and persuasive
  • Excellent communicator with strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action
  • Organizational skills including follow up, time management, ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Skills for problem-solving, analysis and effective decision-making
  • Skills for negotiation and interpretation of contracts
  • Strong interpersonal communication and networking skills
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to guest, clients, and other Team Members of organization
  • Valid Driver License
  • Ability to interact with management and staff at all levels
